2. KJ Jefferson, Arkansas

It was a great season for Arkansas football in 2021. The Razorbacks scored some huge wins and beat both Texas A&M and Texas in the same season.

KJ Jefferson was a huge part of that and he was also part of the Hogs nearly pulling off an upset in Tuscaloosa last season. The Razorbacks have plenty of talent back and Sam Pittman’s team feels like it’s on the verge.

Of course, the SEC West is loaded. Bama is Bama. A&M just landed the best recruiting class in college football history and LSU just hired an elite head coach determined to win a national title.

Yet, all of those teams could take a back seat to Arkansas. Jefferson threw 21 touchdowns last season compared to just four picks. And, he rushed for over 600 yards and six scores. He’s as talented as any dual-threat in the SEC and the biggest reason for Arkansas to be optimistic heading into the 2022 season.
