All eyes on Jackson State encore

So…How do you follow up on a near-flawless 2021-22 football season if you’re Jackson State? Going out and landing the #1 recruiting class in all of FCS football is a good start. 5-star DB/WR Travis Hunter shook up the recruiting scene with his commitment to JSU, but the depth of the Jackson State recruiting haul has Tiger supporters ready and eager to see an encore performance from a team that had few peers in the SWAC last season.

A number of FBS transfers look to find their respective place in the depth pecking order as spring practice works its way into summer.

New JSU Offensive Coordinator Brett Bartolone has the SWAC Offensive Player of the Year in Shedeur Sanders to build his offensive philosophy around.

Indiana Transfers Camron Buckley and Jordyn Williams join 4-Star WR commit Kevin Coleman in building the JSU offense in Bartolone’s image.  Getting brand new facility upgrades isn’t a bad thing, either. The tigers are definitely off to a flying start for spring ball.
