6. Michigan

Fresh off a Big Ten championship and a College Football Playoff appearance, the Wolverines feel a little overlooked heading into 2022.

Jim Harbaugh flirted with the NFL, but he’s back and says he’s committed to winning a national championship. He also said after the Michigan spring game that the Wolverines are “scary good” right now.

Michigan lost Aidan Hutchinson, David Ojabo, Daxton Hill, and a total of seven defensive starters to the NFL as well as running back Hassan Haskins.

Yet, Michigan returns Cade McNamara at quarterback who has been able to hold off five-star J.J. McCarthy up to this point.

McCarthy impressed against Georiga in the Orange Bowl and with both QBs surrounded by running backs Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards, a veteran offensive line, NFL-caliber tight end Erick All, and all of last season’s top wideouts, plus former leading receiver Ronnie Bell, this offense should be the best of the Harbaugh era.
