WR Romeo Doubs to Packers (4th round)

One of the biggest storylines going into the 2022 NFL draft was whether or not the Packers were going to invest in the wide receiver position for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

After six wideouts came off the board in the first 20 picks on Thursday night, the Packers waited until the second round to address the position by drafting Christian Watson out of NDSU.

That was a great pick but Green Bay followed it up with another really good selection near the end of the fourth round in Nevada’s Romeo Doubs.

Doubs is 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, and runs a 4.47 in the 40-yard dash. He was also highly productive for Nevada and is coming off of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

During his four-year career, Doubs caught 225 passes for 3,332 yards and 26 touchdowns. He averaged 14 yards per reception for his career and more than 17 YPC as a junior.

A bona-fide deep threat, Doubs has legit starter potential down the road for the Packers and with his college production, it wouldn’t be shocking if he made an early impact for Green Bay in 2022.
