4. Texas

One team that hasn’t shied away from the transfer portal this offseason is Texas. The Longhorns did lose out on a pass rusher they wanted but also kept Xavier Worthy, who was reportedly being chased with NIL offers from other power-5 programs.

Worthy was one of the top freshman receivers in the country last year and a freshman All-American. He’s incredibly explosive and while the Longhorns have already added a pair of wideouts from the transfer portal, if Jordan Addison was interested, they couldn’t say no.

Plus, with Worthy, Quinn Ewers at quarterback and Bijan Robinson at running back, as well as Jahleel Billingsley, another transfer at tight end from Bama, this offense could be as good as any in college football, especially if Jordan Addison joined the mix.

Steve Sarkisian is also known as one of the best offensive minds in college football and that’s another reason the Longhorns are in the race for the elite pass catcher.
