Big 12: Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma

Keeping with the topic of rivalries that have seen a sudden turn of events, we have the Bedlam Series between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners.

Last season saw the Cowboys outlast the Sooners, 37-33 in Stillwater. The victory was OK State’s first over their in-state foes since 2014. Afterward, the Cowboys entered the Big 12 title game with hopes of securing a spot in the CFP bracket.

In other words, OK State’s 2021 squad was a serious contender to make what would have been the program’s first-ever playoff berth. Combining that with the fact that Oklahoma has made the CFP bracket four times, the Bedlam Series could soon include two of the nation’s best programs on a consistent basis.

But just like with Michigan and Ohio State, that could just as well not be the case. However, the 2022 meeting will be too good to pass up nonetheless.
