4. Miami

New Miami head coach Mario Cristobal is an elite recruiter and he’s definitely generating some buzz in South Florida. He’s even done it with Brandon Inniss, who is one of the Hurricanes’ top overall targets in the 2023 class.

Inniss has been on Miami’s campus a total of eight times, which is more than any other program. He’s also been there twice since Cristobal was hired, although just on unofficial visits.

You wonder if he will use an official visit on Miami, but even if not, he’s familiar enough with the Hurricanes at this point. Winning on the field will help and that’s why even if he commits before the season, Miami might be able to get back into it if the Hurricanes excel on the field in 2022.

3. USC football

The Trojans actually have the crystal ball lead for Brandon Inniss right now and they were in a strong position in March. However, when it comes to elite prospects in college football recruiting, things can change quickly and that’s been the case with Inniss.

USC was the leader for Dylan Raiola before he visited Ohio State and the Buckeyes were able to turn around that recruitment. They have done something similar for Innis and the Trojans have yet to get an official visit scheduled.

That doesn’t mean they are out of it. But it does mean they have work to do.
