1.  Jimbo Fisher (Texas A&M) vs. Nick Saban (Alabama)

Nick Saban has a great relationship with most of his assistants or former assistants. Kirby Smart, Lane Kiffin, and Mario Cristobal are coaches that have coached under Saban and respect him.

Saban has also dominated throughout his entire career against his former assistants. That all changed when the Texas A&M Aggies, led by head coach Jimbo Fisher, defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide, led by Nick Saban, at home 41-38.

With the result of this game, the recruiting for the Aggies boosted significantly. The NIL deals have also been a great boost to the Aggies as they went from the fourth overall recruiting class in 2021 with one five-star recruit to the top recruiting class this year with seven five-star recruits.

As a result, Nick Saban gave a hot take that claimed that Fisher and the Aggies bought their elite recruiting class. Fisher responded to Saban, his former mentor, calling him a narcissist and said Saban should be smacked. Meanwhile, the Texas A&M athletic director Ross Bokr tattled on Saban to the SEC offices demanding there should be disciplinary actions.

This was not the first time that Fisher took something from Saban personally. Before the 2021 season, Fisher claimed that he was to be the first former assistant to beat him head-to-head. Saban responded in a comical way, “in what? Golf?” Fisher took this matter as a personal measure to beat Saban and accomplished it, but now it seems more than personal.

Fisher has called for the NCAA to review actions of the recruiting and coaching of Saban, claiming that he has done shady stuff in the past. He will also not take Saban’s call. Both Saban and Fisher are fighting dirty and will not rest until one of them settles down.

This rivalry between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas A&M Aggies continues to heat up as this rivalry was tough since the Aggies came into the SEC.

One thing is clear and confirmed, there is no love between Saban and Fisher, making this the biggest coaching feud in College Football.
