Jaden Rashada, a top-ranked quarterback in the 2023 recruiting class is set to announce a decision on Saturday, and here are the top four contenders.

We are now just five days away from four-star 2023 quarterback Jaden Rashada announcing his commitment and while we have a little more clarity than the last time we looked at all the contenders, this race is still murky.

Oregon football was leading the On3.com prediction machine for Jaden Rashada when he released his final seven and announced his commitment date of June 18. Now though, the Ducks appear to be fading after Rashada visited Texas A&M football, Florida football, and LSU.

The Ducks are now fourth according to the On3.com prediction machine. However, that doesn’t mean they are necessarily out of it. But four-star QB Avery Johnson is visiting Oregon this weekend and that seems to indicate Jaden Rashada is going elsewhere.

It’s one of the most interesting recruitments in college football right now and the No. 42 overall prospect and seventh-ranked quarterback in the 2023 class is definitely going to cause some other dominoes to fall once he makes his decision.

Where will he end up? It looks like Texas A&M football, Florida, Miami, and believe it or not, Ole Miss have all emerged as possible destinations, and here’s a case for each program to believe it could land Rashada on Saturday.

Ole Miss

The Rebels seemed to hurt their own chances of landing Rashada when they took Marcel Reed at the position in 2023 but Ole Miss could be after two quarterbacks and it hasn’t stopped recruiting Rashada at all.

In fact, Ole Miss just landed Rashada’s brother as a JUCO transfer. Plus Jaden Rashada and Lane Kiffin seemed to be really tight during the recruiting process.

It’s possible that Ole Miss is able to land both QBs (Reed and Rashada) and Mike Farrell at least is hearing possible good news for the Rebels.

But as of now, the Rebels have just a 3.6 percent chance according to the On3 prediction machine.
