After getting Jaden Rashada on campus in the month of June, Florida football surged to the lead in the On3 prediction machine that it still gives the Gators just a 26 percent chance of winning his commitment which reflects all the uncertainty.

However, in the same report Simmons put out about Rashada possibly visiting Miami, he quoted a source that said Rashada wanted to be in the state of Florida.

Rashada is from California, but both the Gators and Miami have attractive situations. Billy Napier is a first-year coach at Florida, like Cristobal at Miami, but both have won in the past and are really strong recruiters.

Napier is expected to be a star with Florida and with Anthony Richardson potentially starting for just one more season before going to the NFL, Rashada could have an opportunity to start right away with Florida.

At Miami, he could have a chance to play early too. But Florida is in the SEC and if NIL is a factor, it’s going to be a tough call. All four teams listed could win his commitment.
