7. Indiana

After having notable seasons in 2019 and 2020, Indiana football fell all over themselves in 2021. After the program began to trend up for the first time (seemingly) ever, IU somehow finished 3-9 last season, making the nation lose all faith in their past success.

In 2022, the games will not get much easier. IU faces all of the Big Ten East powerhouses plus Purdue and Nebraska and will travel to Cincinnati (who is coming off a College Football Playoff appearance last season.)

I do not have much hope for the Hoosiers this season. Although I think Tom Allen is a good football coach, Indiana isn’t a great program, and the team will likely not face many beatable opponents for their talent level. Maybe I am wrong about IU, and they simply hit a road bump last season, but for the time being, the Hoosiers come in dead last in their division.

Record: 3-9; losses to everyone except Illinois, Idaho, and Western Kentucky
