2. Michigan

The Wolverines are coming off one of the best seasons in program history in 2021. Although the team has lost most of its leadership and big players from last year, Michigan has an incredibly easy schedule and will likely make a good run at second place in the division this year.

The Wolverines must travel to Ohio State — a curse for all programs that have their eyes on the conference title — but will host Michigan State and Penn State. Going on the road to play Iowa will also be a tough start, but Michigan should handle their business if the defense shows up.

Mel Tucker seems to have Jim Harbaugh’s number, and Ryan Day has vengeance on his mind this season. Penn State is a total toss-up this season, so we will leave the Nittany Lions out of it for now and assume the Wolverines will lose to MSU and OSU.

Record: 10-2; losses against Michigan State and Ohio State
