3 hottest teams in college football recruiting right now
Georgia football
It should be easy to recruit when you are the defending national champion and the month of June has been good to Georgia football as the Bulldogs have added four verbal commitments.
Not all of them have been ranked as blue-chip prospects (four-star or better) but the Bulldogs added one of the best kickers in the 2023 class, as well as a five-star cornerback in AJ Harris.
Harris was one of the biggest college football recruiting commitments in the entire month of June. Out of Alabama, Harris is 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, and is ranked fifth overall at the cornerback position, as well as fifth in the state of Alabama.
But he’s going to play for Georgia football. Additionally, the Bulldogs added four-star linebacker CJ Allen (No. 167 overall) and flipped three-star OL Joshua Miller from Penn State (No. 541 overall).
Beyond that, Georgia also hosted five-star QB Arch Manning this month and I continue to believe that the Bulldogs have the best shot to get Arch, despite the thought that Texas holds a lead.
Georgia also hosted top-100 linebacker Raylen Wilson, a player that is committed to Michigan but could be flipping to UGA before signing day.
Kirby Smart and the Dawgs have a bunch of other four-star prospects coming to campus this weekend, the last before the dead period, and it’s a chance for UGA to add to what should be another top-5 college football recruiting class.
