Arkansas was a huge gainer in 2021, winning nine games, which is more than they had in the prior three seasons combined. Sam Pittman has built a program that is sustainable and will be strong for 2022.

The Razorbacks have the mighty task, however, of replacing Treylon Burks at receiver, as well as several defensive losses. To aid in this, they’ve gone to the transfer portal and brought in guys like Oklahoma transfer Jadon Haselwood to fill in the cracks.

It’s still not enough, though. Alabama wins by two touchdowns.

Prediction: Alabama 35, Arkansas 20 (5-0, 2-0)

There’s a lot of momentum around Texas A&M football, and rightfully so in some respects. This February, they had the number one overall recruiting class, and they’ve been riding that high into a possible top-five ranking in the preseason.

For this year, though, A&M is probably a year or two away. The team has lost a ton of talent from last year’s team, and the incoming talent is too young to be sticking with Alabama this year.

Prediction: Alabama 40, Texas A&M 28 (6-0, 3-0)
