Penn State Football: Nittany Lions look to end 5-year Big Ten title drought

2022 Predictions

Sept. 1st: at Purdue (W) – It should be a crime that Penn State opens up on Thursday.
Sept. 10th: vs Ohio (W) – 60 plus? Wouldn’t be surprised.
Sept. 17th: at Auburn (W) – A coin flip, but Lions come up on top.
Sept. 24th: vs Central Michigan (W) – More Maction. More points.
Oct. 1st: vs Northwestern (W) – Defensive game but Lions get second conference win.
Oct. 15th: at Michigan (W) – Another coin flip, but Lions are seeking revenge.
Oct. 22nd: vs Minnesota (W) – White Out trumps trap game vibes.
Oct. 29th: vs Ohio State (L) – Buckeyes prove to be too much.
Nov. 5th: at Indiana (W) – Lions get back on track.
Nov. 12th: vs Maryland (L) – Not an upset. Terps are for real.
Nov. 19th: at Rutgers (W) – Penn State takes out frustration.
Nov. 26th: vs Michigan State (W) – The Land Grant Trophy goes back to Happy Valley.

Prediction: 10-2, 2nd in Big Ten East

At worst, Penn State could find themselves hovering around or just above a .500 season, but with many experts once again thinking this is a rebuilding year, I believe the Nittany Lions will do more than just silence the doubters but notch 10 regular season wins and a spot in a New Year’s Six Bowl Game.

It’s Sean Clifford’s final year and he believes the Nittany Lions have let opportunities slip out of their hands the past two seasons. So can Penn State put the last two seasons in the past? Or are those in Happy Valley in for another disappointing season?
