5 college football teams dealing with significant injuries in fall camp

Texas: Isaiah Neyor was supposed to start across from Xavier Worthy
There is not much good news out of fall camp if you are a Texas Longhorn fan. Head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff have to be concerned about some injuries from the fall scrimmage game.
The offensive line was suspect since spring practice, one factor that likely led to Quinn Ewers winning the starting quarterback job. Ewers will have to be even more mobile now because interior lineman Junior Angilau suffered a lower-body injury. He is out for an undisclosed amount of time. Angilau was supposed to be one of the better linemen for Texas this season.
Wide receiver Isaiah Neyor was supposed to start opposite Xavier Worthy this fall. Neyor suffered an ACL injury and is likely out for the season.
The Longhorns have a talented receiver room but don’t have a receiver like Neyor. The Wyoming transfer is 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds. Troy Omeire has the dimensions, but not the production Neyor brings to the table.
The loss of Rochon Johnson affects the depth of the running back room. Johnson was second on the team in rushing and chipped in 11 receptions. The running back room is deep but unproven. More than anything, the Longhorns will miss Johnson’s leadership.
