3 reasons Georgia Football will beat Oregon in Atlanta

1. The NFL talent is on Georgia’s side
Under Kirby Smart, Georgia football has gone from just producing NFL talent to becoming an NFL factory. The Dawgs had 15 players drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, and have been producing talent on both sides of the ball.
While the talent drop-off from losing that many players is steep, Georgia football still has a cornucopia of NFL talent. In the first 105 slots (105 picks comprise the first three rounds of the NFL Draft) of the NFL Mock Draft Database, Georgia has eight players projected to go.
Meanwhile, Oregon has just three players within the same ranking slot.
While it’s true that NFL talent isn’t the end-all, be-all in terms of projecting games, it’s a pretty darn good indicator of how good a team can be. Bad teams can produce NFL talent, but bad teams do not produce the sheer quantity of talent that Georgia has on their side of the ball.
Not that Oregon is a bad team, as they’ll be a Pac-12 contender. But, they just don’t have the same amount of pro-ready players that Georgia does.
