The Arkansas football team barely escapes with the win over Cincinnati

Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks are going to get all they can handle from No. 23 Cincinnati. Most sportsbooks have the line set around 6.5 points in favor of Arkansas.

There would be fewer things more embarrassing than an SEC team losing to a team from the AAC, but it’s possible. Just ask Mississippi State when they lost to Memphis last season.

But Cincinnati is no ordinary Group of Five team.

No matter what happens, though, the Bearcats will go home with a ton of cash. Cincinnati is set to receive a payout of $1.5 million from Arkansas in this Week 1 guarantee game, according to a report from USA Today.

This only adds to the pressure of Arkansas getting off to a good start and making sure they don’t get upset by a “smaller school.”

The Hogs have plenty of incentive, talent, and discipline to make sure that doesn’t happen. Expect the Arkansas football team to lean on a strong home-field advantage and win this Week 1 bout vs Cincinnati.
