2. Miami football coach Mario Cristobal knows how to win big games

Last season, while the head coach of the Oregon Ducks, Mario Cristobal guided his team to an incredible upset over No. 3 Ohio State.

Prior to that, he had wins over six other Top 25 teams during his tenure with the Ducks, three of which were against Top-10 teams (No. 7 Washington, No. 5 Utah, No. 8 Wisconsin).

Make no mistake, despite the Aggies reeling from an embarrassing loss, questionable activity on social media, and falling all the way to No. 24 in the rankings, this is going to be a very difficult team stocked with a rich recruiting class.

The last time Miami earned a win against a team from the SEC, Barack Obama was President of the United States. The game was against No. 12 Florida, and Miami came out on top 21-16 in September of 2013.

Cristobal is already changing the culture of this program. But these are the kinds of games that he has to win to change the public perception.

A win at Texas A&M will reinforce exactly why he was the right guy to restore the Hurricanes as an elite college football team.
