After three games, the Wolverines are rolling. After their shutout of UConn on Saturday, they have outscored their competition 166 to 17.

The only question remains is how good is this Michigan team? In addition to the Huskies they have beaten Colorado State and Hawaii. We know they have a very good running back in Blake Corum and Jim Harbaugh will be sticking with J.J. McCarthy as his QB1, which is the right choice. But the Wolverines have yet to break a sweat with one of the weakest non conference slates in FBS.

The conference slate should bring a step up in competition for Michigan. They host Maryland next Saturday afternoon.

The Buckeyes once again dominated an overmatched non conference opponent. The victim this week was Toledo with the Buckeyes racking up 77 points on the in-state visitors.

After looking a little shaky in the opener against Notre Dame, C.J. Stroud is starting to put up some Heisman like numbers. Against Toledo the junior signal caller threw 367 yards and five touchdowns. The Buckeyes had three receivers go for over 100 yards and one of them was not even Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is being eased back into the line up after his injury.

Now the tune up games are completed, it is time for the meat of the conference schedule to start. First up is a home game in primetime with Wisconsin. The Buckeyes should be favored but this could be a close game.
