No. 7 USC (-5.5) at Oregon State

Both teams enter this matchup 3-0 and the fact that it’s a road game adds to the possibility of an upset. This wouldn’t be the first really talented USC team to go to the Northwest and lose a game it wasn’t supposed to.

It’s happened against Oregon State before and Washington State. The atmosphere should be electric and Oregon State did score 68 points last week. It was against Montana State, however, the Bobcats did make the FCS national title game last year, so they are solid in their own division.

The Beavers narrowly beat Fresno State, a team that USC beat last week, but also beat Boise State in convincing fashion in Week 1.

Chance Nolan has looked really good at quarterback and running backs Deshaun Fenwick and Damien Martinez should be able to find some running room against a Trojan defense that’s allowing 4.8 yards per game.

USC might escape but the Trojans definitely head to Corvallis on upset alert.
