What’s next for Duke?

Duke first-year head coach Mike Elko can’t be disappointed with how his team played this afternoon. The offense took care of the football with no turnovers. Kansas was the most formidable team the Blue Devils have played all season, and they played well. They have some work to do defensively, but Jalon Daniels has carved up every team they’ve played this season.

The Blue Devils begin conference play next weekend when they travel to Charlottesville to take on the Virginia Cavaliers. Coach Elko and the Blue Devils have to feel confident going into conference play, especially on offense.

What’s next for Kansas football?

Things get as accurate as they get next week when the Jayhawks travel to Ames to play the Iowa State Cyclones. The Cyclone defense versus Jalon Daniels is one of the more intriguing matchups in the Big 12 next weekend. Daniels has been a one-man wrecking crew this season. Head coach Lance Leipold must like how the Jayhawks are forming their identity as the season progresses.
