Welcome to the basement of the Big Ten power rankings, Northwestern. The Wildcats lost a really sloppy game in State College.

Northwestern’s offense had plenty of chances to score points as Penn State had five giveaways. But they scored zero points off all those turnovers and that was the difference in the game. They will host Wisconsin next Saturday.

After a 3-0 start, Indiana has now dropped two straight games. Losing to Nebraska with an interim head coach is not a good thing.

The Hoosiers were tied with the Huskers at 21 going into halftime, but could not get anything going in the second half. It does not get any easier for Indiana as they host Michigan next week.

Congrats to the Huskers for getting out of the basement of the Big Ten power rankings. The Huskers got the offense clicking and the defense played lights out in the second half to seal the victory.

The week off seemed to help Nebraska reset under interim coach Mickey Joseph. We will see if the good vibes continue as the Huskers have to make the cross-country trip to face Rutgers on Friday night.
