Michigan went on the road for the first time and passed the test, avoiding a trap in Kinnick Stadium and winning 27-14. Blake Corum was a workhorse once again for the Wolverines. He carried the ball 29 times for 133 yards and found the endzone once.

Michigan’s defense held Iowa scoreless for the first three quarters but did give up two touchdowns in the final frame. In the end, it did not matter. Michigan got the win and looks like the only team right now that may be able to compete with Ohio State for the Big Ten conference crown. Still, a lot of football to go but the Wolverines sure look like a contender.

A fumble on Ohio State’s opening possession turned into seven points for Rutgers. No big deal as the Buckeyes scored the next 28 points on their way to a 49-10 rout in Columbus.

Miyan Williams had a huge day on the ground with 189 yards and five touchdowns. C.J. Stroud had a pedestrian day throwing for only 154 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. If you are going to have an off day, this is the type of game to have it with the run game working.

Ohio State continues to be the most complete-looking team in the conference. The Buckeyes will hit the road for the first time this Saturday as they face off against a Spartan team trying to stop the bleeding.
