Mid-season in Big Ten football and everything is going according to plan, right? Well, Ohio State and Michigan are living up to expectations so far in the East division. The West division is completely wild and any team except Northwestern is alive to win it.

Back to the Buckeyes though, they appear to be far and away the best team in the conference. Michigan and Penn State both have flaws. The Wolverines and Nittany Lions face off this week in what could be a Big Ten East elimination game.

Over on the other side of the conference, Illinois, Purdue and Nebraska are at the top of the standings each with a 2-1 record in the conference. Just like everyone drew it up. Minnesota is behind those teams and all four of them play each other this next Saturday. Should be fun and we will have more answers next week.

So how did Week 6’s results alter this week’s edition of the power rankings? Read on to find out.
