College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 9
I’m buying as much stock in Dan Lanning as I can right now. The first-year Oregon head coach has been working wonders in Eugene so far.
And Oregon fans have to feel like they won the coaching carousel in the offseason as Lanning is arguably the best first-year coach and Mario Cristobal has been arguably the worst at Miami. On one hand, Oregon smacked around the No. 9 team in the country, and on the other, the Hurricanes lost at home to Duke by three scores.
Oregon is back, folks.
I owe Bo Nix an apology because I was calling him a horrible option for QB1 after the loss to Georgia but he’s done nothing but prove me wrong since. He looks like the most improved quarterback in the country and a legit Heisman candidate. Yes, that Bo Nix.
Oregon will probably jump at least two spots after this win, but it’ll be interesting to see how the Ducks look in the playoff race seeing as they lost by a million to Georgia in Week 1.
