6. Florida State Seminoles (4-3, 2-3)

The Seminoles were off this weekend. Currently, the Seminoles are in the midst of a three-game losing streak. Florida State is an odd team to figure out. Jordan Travis has improved as a player by leaps and bounds this season. The defense plays well against mid-level teams but struggles against the conference’s top.

The Seminoles look to get back on track against Georgia Tech on Saturday.

5. Duke Blue Devils (5-3, 2-2)

The Blue Devils forced eight turnovers and used a 21-point fourth quarter to defeat the Miami Hurricanes 45-21 in Miami Gardens. The Blue Devils stopped a two-game losing streak, but there was no atmosphere in that stadium. The Blue Devils have an off week before traveling to Chestnut Hill for an opportunity to become bowl eligible against a reeling Boston College team.

4. #13 Wake Forest Demon Deacons (6-1, 2-1)

Is there a more entertaining team to watch than Wake Forest? Sam Hartman is fun to watch and has mastered the Demon Deacons’ offense. The Demon Deacons trounced a struggling Boston College team 45-13 and have already played Clemson and Florida State. If the Deacons can win, they must be considered for a New Year’s Six game.
