2. Logan Diggs

Logan Diggs had a very solid game on the ground for the Irish rushing attack. Diggs had 20 rushes for 83 yards and added his first rushing touchdown of the year.

Diggs had a slower start to the year due to a shoulder injury but really seems to have been coming on strong here as of late.

Last week Diggs ran for 130 yards. The confidence is definitely there for the young running back in Diggs. Syracuse’s defense against the pass has been really effective, so the Irish needed a big game for their running backs and Diggs helped delivered.

The sophomore back in Diggs ran for nearly 5 yards per carry on Saturday to help move the ball and control the clock.
