1. This Texas A&M team is bafflingly bad

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team with this much talent and right after landing the No. 1 recruiting class in the country look this poorly put together.

With the loss, Texas A&M falls to 3-6 on the season and it’ll need to win out if it wants to make a bowl game and this was supposed to be one of those games in which the Aggies were expected to win. Sure, they had a rash of absences due to the flu but that’s no excuse for losing a home game against a Florida team that has struggled this year.

Texas A&M’s defense looked bad, Haynes King was shaky in the second half, and Jimbo Fisher’s coaching was, well, questionable yet again.

I mean, how do you just stop feeding Devon Achane even though he’s having himself a heck of a game? That’s on Fisher right there.

Texas A&M will likely miss out on a bowl game and the Aggies will have to hope this is just a major outlier in the Fisher era because his buyout is pricey. This is year five of Jimbo and the Aggies are 3-6. That’s unacceptable.
