14. Virginia Tech Hokies (2-7,1-5)

We knew what the Hokies would be this season with a first-year head coach. Virginia Tech has fought hard the last three weeks, losing its previous three games by one possession. The offense has a long way to go, but the defense has been solid. That said, there might not be another win on the schedule for the Hokies.

13. Virginia Cavaliers (3-6, 1-5)

Football has not been excellent in the state of Virginia. The Hokies are bad, and so are the Cavaliers. It is hard to believe head coach Tony Elliot has not been able to unlock quarterback Brennan Armstrong. He was one of the most dynamic college football players last year; the opposite has been confirmed this season. Could Elliot be one and one in Charlottesville?

12. Boston College Eagles (2-7, 1-5)

Here at headquarters, we were informed that Eagles head coach Jeff Hafley is taking applications for offensive linemen. The Eagles have had six offensive linemen injured throughout this season. So, if you can block, you are 300 pounds, or some combination of both, Hafley will give you a tryout as a preferred walk-on because they are desperate.

11. Miami Hurricanes (4-5, 2-3)

The Hurricanes were boat raced by the Florida State Seminoles 45-3 Saturday afternoon. That was a team that is looking forward to 2023. It might be time to play the young guys for Mario Cristobal and his staff. He might have to tell some players they are playing for their positions next season.
