Iowa was held to under 150 yards and still beat Wisconsin by two scores. Once again the Hawkeye offense was stuck in neutral but bailed out by their defense and special teams. The Hawkeyes are now bowl eligible for the tenth straight season.

If Iowa’s power ranking could be divided by unit, their offense would be at the bottom of the conference but their defense would be near the top. Along with the special teams, the defense has been stellar all season. The Hawkeyes still have a shot to go to Indy with two crucial games upcoming.

After a three-game losing streak mid-season, the Gophers have seemingly got back on track with three straight victories. The difficulty of their last three opponents has certainly helped. The brightest spot of this season has been Mo Ibrahim, who ran his streak of 100-yard games to 18 against Northwestern.

The Gophers host Iowa this upcoming Saturday. It would be a huge plus for the Gophers if Tanner Morgan can suit up.

The Penn State defense was all over Maryland’s Taulia Tagovailoa, sacking him seven times and harassing him nearly all game. Nick Singleton scored twice and racked up 122 yards as the freshman continued his solid first year.

Penn State is on track for 10 wins with Rutgers and Michigan State left on the year. While they lost to both Ohio State and Michigan, 10 wins and a return to a New Year’s Six bowl would be considered a success considering the Nittany Lions’ 11-11 combined record the last two seasons.
