After a lackluster performance a week ago against Northwestern, Ohio State returned to form as they routed Indiana 56-14. C.J. Stroud threw just short of 300 yards and tossed five touchdowns while Miyan Williams ran for 147 yards and a score. Unfortunately, Williams was injured in the second quarter so with TreVeyon Henderson already out, the Buckeye backfield moving forward will be an area to watch.

Other than Williams’ injury, it was a good day for the Buckeyes. Their game against Michigan is looming but first, they will travel to College Park to take on the Terps.

Michigan keeps the top spot in the power rankings with a fairly easy victory over Nebraska 34-3. A methodical game where the Wolverines had 412 total yards, 27 first downs, and possessed the ball for over 35 minutes.

The Wolverines have Illinois next on the docket. A few weeks ago this looked like an interesting matchup before their game against Ohio State. However, now it is lost some of its intrigue after Illinois’ performance in the last couple of weeks. The only thing Michigan needs to make sure of is to take care of business and not get caught looking ahead to their much anticipated last game of the regular season.
