College Football Playoff Rankings 2022: Projected Top 25 for Week 13
As I watched Washington pick up a massive upset against Oregon last weekend, I knew right away that the Ducks were going to bounce back in a big way.
Dan Lanning was going to have his guys ready to face another quality opponent.
Oregon bounced back against Utah on Saturday night, picking up a three-point win over the Utes, 20-17. It wasn’t the prettiest win and a game that looked to be headed toward a comfortable win as the Ducks had a 17-3 halftime lead, but a top-10 victory is a top-10 victory.
This win should vault Oregon into the top 10 again and if you look at the Ducks’ two losses, it’s fair to say that they should have a legitimate shot to make the playoff. Losing to the nation’s No. 1 team in the opener and a really good Washington team shouldn’t eliminate them from contention.
But they have to really impress the committee in the final week and win the Pac-12 title convincingly — and a lot of other things needs to happen.
