1. Rose Bowl

The Granddaddy of them All would be the perfect destination to end this improved season for the Nittany Lions. While the Rose has been typically reserved for the champions of the Big Ten and Pac-12, this season it could fall to Penn State.

Both Ohio State and Michigan are undefeated heading into their much-anticipated matchup. The winner is practically assured a spot in the College Football Playoff. The loser still has a chance at 11-1. This is particularly true if the winner is Michigan. With their weaker non-conference schedule, it might hurt the Wolverines if they lose to Ohio State. The Buckeyes are more likely to still make it with one loss.

The Nittany Lions first appeared in the Rose Bowl in 1923 but they did not appear again until 1994 as a member of the Big Ten. Their 38-20 win over Oregon capped an undefeated season but they still finished number two to Nebraska, something that still sticks with Nittany Lion fans to this day.

Their last two appearances in the Rose Bowl, the 2008 and 2016 seasons, both ended in losses to USC. However, the 2017 Rose Bowl was an unbelievable game and one of the most memorable Rose Bowls of all time. Penn State and USC had an epic battle that ended up with the Trojans kicking a last-second field goal to win 52-49.
