Spencer Sanders – Tennessee

Tennessee is going to have to find a replacement for Hendon Hooker and while they are bringing in one of the top quarterback recruits in the country from the 2023 class in Nico Iamaleava, the Vols will have to determine if they are ready to hand the offense over to him.

Joe Milton is a holdover. The former Michigan starter has looked better this season in limited action and he’s likely to start the bowl game.

Tennessee can do better than Milton as the starter and if they aren’t ready to give Nico the reigns, Sanders would be a great option especially because he would be guaranteed on the roster for just a year which could ease concerns from Iamaleava.

Both would probably see time and Sanders would need to be ok with that. But Josh Heupel did wonders for Hendon Hooker, so it doesn’t seem like a hard sell to me.
