2. Grayson McCall — Auburn

I know it would make sense for Grayson McCall to follow Jamey Chadwell to Liberty. But that seems like more of a safe bet to me. McCall has proven he can play and he’s ranked as the second-best transfer portal quarterback for a reason.

He’s too good to play for Liberty and if he wanted to test himself against the SEC or the best college football has to offer, you couldn’t blame him.

Hugh Freeze has always used dual-threat quarterbacks well and McCall would be a perfect fit for that scheme. 247 sports also reports positive signs that this could happen.

3. Hudson Card — TCU

Notre Dame is a team to consider here but Card can play for three more seasons and it seems like the Irish have more interest in a veteran for one year sort of like Jack Coan.

I could be wrong on that, but Card doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He was overshadowed by Quinn Ewers yet he was a top-60 recruit coming out of high school and over the past two seasons, has 11 touchdown passes compared to just two picks. He also completed 69 percent of his passes last season and with Max Duggan moving on, TCU will need a new starter.

Chandler Morris is also there but I have a feeling that the kid from Texas will stay in Texas and shine at TCU in one of the most important transfer portal quarterback additions.
