Season Overview: This season was very Pitt-like in contrast to 2021. Head coach Pat Narduzzi played the way he loved. The Panthers had a challenging, physical running game that complemented one of the ACC’s best pass rushes. When star running back Israel Abandikanda was humming; the Panthers were tough to beat.
2023 Outlook: The Panthers lose a lot off this roster, including Abandikanda. Kedon Slovis entered the transfer portal, but Pitt picked up Phil Jurkovec via the portal. Kancey is injured and has not officially declared for the draft but could also leave early.
