TCU will struggle to hit 100 yards rushing

The status of TCU running back Kendre Miller is going to have a say about this but one of the most overlooked aspects of the Horned Frogs’ win was their ability to run the football.

Max Duggan was key to that and had two rushing touchdowns. We also saw him run the ball quite a bit in the Big 12 championship game. It wouldn’t shock me if he was TCU’s leading rusher on Monday night because Georgia’s run defense is elite.

The Bulldogs allow just three yards per rushing attempt. Both teams average more than 200 yards on the ground, but I don’t see TCU getting anywhere near 200.

I think the Horned Frogs are going to struggle to get 100 yards, especially if Miller who has 1,399 rushing yards can’t play.

Emari Demercado had a 73-yard touchdown run in the Fiesta Bowl and averaged 5.8 yards per attempt this season, but Georgia will win the rushing battle and that’s because the Horned Frogs are going to struggle to hit 100 yards.
