4. Arizona

Not much is expected of the Wildcats heading into 2023, much like the Horned Frogs this past offseason. The Pac-12 had a much-improved performance last year, finishing the season with five Top 25 teams with the vast improvements of programs like USC, Oregon State, and UCLA.

Arizona posted a 5-7 record last year, which was just as mediocre as TCU’s finish in 2021. The Wildcats had gone 1-11 the year before and vastly improved in 2022 in nearly every team statistical category imaginable.

With continued momentum under third-year Jedd Fisch, who previously coached as an assistant with the NFL’s Patriots and Rams, Arizona could pull off some surprises in the Pac-12 after a Week 2 road trip to Mississippi State.
