Season Overview: New head coach Lincoln Riley brought back some swagger to Hollywood this past season. Quarterback Caleb Williams won the Heisman Trophy, and the Trojans played for the Pac-12 championship and won 10 games for the first time in five years. If Williams is healthy, maybe the Trojans win the Pac-12 and make the Playoffs.

2023 Outlook: Williams returns for a third season, but the offense loses a ton, including Jordan Addison, Travis Dye, and Austin Jones. Defensive coordinator Alex Grinch needs to develop players on the defense. The Trojans surrendered 35 points or more six times, including the Pac-12 title game and Cotton Bowl, both losses.
