1. Joe Brady

Frankly, I thought that Joe Brady would have been a great hire for Alabama. The former LSU passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach has been in the NFL for the past three seasons and might be ready for a return to the college ranks.

Brady did wonders with Joe Burrow and that 2019 LSU offense. However, the magic didn’t really follow him to the Panthers, although he never had what you’d call a franchise quarterback.

Brady has certainly gotten the most of out Josh Allen and it would be fun to see what he could do with Sam Hartman, who is looking to win and also likely get drafted after the 2023 season.

His past experience at LSU will make him an attractive candidate. Kids would respond well to him on the recruiting trail and in terms of working with QBs and calling plays, he’s a proven commodity.

You wonder if he wants to recruit and return to the college game over the NFL. That’s a big question but if the answer is yes, Notre Dame football feels like a perfect fit.
