Louisville is another program experiencing a ton of change this offseason as the Cardinals have moved on from Scott Satterfield and Jeff Brohm has taken over at his alma mater.

That’s a win for Louisville.

The Cardinals should be competitive in 2023 but not quite to the level of competing for an ACC title. The offense will look a lot different without Malik Cunningham and I don’t think Brohm beats the Irish in his first year with Jack Plummer at quarterback.

Prediction: Win (6-1)

Do I think USC will contend for a national title next season? Yes. Do I think the Trojans will go unbeaten? That’s a possibility, but Notre Dame is going to give them a heck of a test smack-dab in the middle of the season in South Bend.

The rivalry game will be back-and-forth but I think it’ll come down to which quarterback makes more plays and I have to give the slight edge to reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams. He’s going to have a number of Heisman moments in this one.

USC wins a classic.

Prediction: Loss (6-2)
