A chance to string together back-to-back conference wins doesn’t come around often for rebuilding programs but the Buffaloes will beat Arizona State the week before and they’ll host a Stanford program that is under a new direction with David Shaw stepping down this past year.

Troy Taylor has taken over as head coach but he has no head coaching experience in the FBS and it’s going to be a big adjustment for him in year one.

Plus, the talent just isn’t there for Stanford yet.

Prediction: Win (4-3, 2-2)

Chip Kelly has done wonders for the UCLA football program and the Bruins might actually be one of those dark horse contenders in the Pac-12 in 2023.

Gone is Dorian Thompson-Robinson, but that shouldn’t hurt too much because Kelly brings back Ethan Garbers to challenge five-star freshman Dante Moore for the starting job. My bet would be the latter winning the job and that would be bad news for the rest of the Pac-12.

UCLA gets a big win here and stays alive in the Pac-12 title race.

Prediction: Loss (4-4, 2-3)
