There’s no more pressure for the rest of the season since Colorado is already heading to a bowl, but improving the postseason game that it’s invited to is important. But two road games stand between a .500 season and an 8-4 campaign and a potentially really solid bowl matchup.

Unfortunately, I don’t see the Buffaloes picking up a win in Pullman even though the Cougars are a beatable team.

Cameron Ward will be the difference in this matchup.

Prediction: Loss (6-5, 4-4)

Beating Utah on the road would be a huge statement for Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes, but taking down the two-time reigning Pac-12 champs just isn’t on the radar just yet. Colorado is just not at that level.

The Buffaloes will keep it close for a quarter but Utah will turn up the pressure and run away with a win in the season finale.

Colorado fans will be more than pleased with a 6-6 season and a near-.500 record in conference play considering it was in the gutter under Karl Dorrell.

Prediction: Loss (6-6, 4-5)
