Yet another team on the schedule facing a coaching change this past offseason, Wisconsin let Paul Chryst go in the middle of the 2022 campaign and hit a grand slam with the hire of Luke Fickell. No one expected him to leave Cincinnati for Wisconsin, but here we are.

It won’t take Fickell too long to build a winner in Madison and that will start right away as the Badgers will be competing for a Big Ten West crown.

This win over Nebraska will help those efforts.

Prediction: Loss (5-6, 3-5)

A rivalry game with a bowl on the line. What more could you ask for as a first-year head coach?

Iowa should be an improved offensive team from last year as the Hawkeyes were one of the worst teams on that side of the ball in the nation. They added Cade McNamara and Erick All from Michigan to give the offense a shot in the arm and that might just do the trick.

But Nebraska is going to get the job done in front of a raucous Memorial Stadium crowd to end the season as excitement will be at its highest level in years.

While it’s just a bowl berth, it’s something that just didn’t happen under Frost. There will be celebrating in the streets of Lincoln.

Prediction: Win (6-6, 4-5)
