Another player that was solid in the Group of Five ranks but has barely scratched the surface is Jimmy Horn Jr. The former South Florida wideout was one of the top pass-catchers in the transfer portal and he could be a legit threat in the passing game this season for Colorado.

Right now, he projects as a starter for the Buffaloes — as he should be.

While he’s not the biggest target, standing just 5-foot-9 and 174 pounds, he’s an electrifying receiver who can turn a short pass into a touchdown. He finished his second year with South Florida catching 37 passes for 551 yards and three touchdowns. He approached 1,000 yards and had four touchdown catches and 67 total receptions in two years with the Bulls.

Horn might approach those total numbers this season with the Buffaloes. Sure, that’s a lofty goal, but it feels like he’ll be in his best situation and has a better quarterback throwing him the ball than who he had at South Florida.

We could see him become a household name this season.
