2. Los Angeles Chargers (No. 22)

This one might be a bit of a stretch, but the Los Angeles Chargers targeting a receiver in the first round wouldn’t be a complete surprise. They have their franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert and there are rumors that Keenan Allen and the Chargers could part ways this offseason. If that’s the case, it wouldn’t hurt to go wideout here.

Quentin Johnston has great size like Mike Williams, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 215 pounds, and the two could cause a lot of problems for smaller defensive backs.

Along with Allen potentially on his way out of Los Angeles, Deandre Carer, Jalen Guyton, and Michael Bandy are all unrestricted free agents. They could all be gone which would force the Chargers into either targeting a tight end in free agency or in the draft. If they go the draft route, they could hope that Johnston falls to them at No. 22.

I don’t think he falls that far, but if he’s somehow still there, the Chargers have to jump on this opportunity.
