SEC: Georgia

When it comes to 2023 college football predictions, saying that Georgia football is going to win the SEC championship once again isn’t exactly bold.

However, it’s hard to bet against the Bulldogs who have gone through the last two regular seasons undefeated in the SEC. Georgia was able to finish off the perfect season in 2022, yet there was no championship game showdown with Alabama.

The Crimson Tide are the biggest threat to knock off Georgia this season, however, the Crimson Tide, like the Bulldogs, are looking for a new starting quarterback.

Tennessee, another top-10 team from last season that finished with 11 wins, has Joe Milton, but still has to replace Hendon Hooker. There could be a QB competition there too, while LSU is the returning SEC West champion and returns Jayden Daniels. LSU also landed an elite transfer haul and made sure to upgrade its secondary.

Georgia is also loaded and until someone proves they can beat the Bulldogs, I’m sticking with them in terms of winning the SEC title in 2023.
