4. Miami Hurricanes

Mario Cristobal’s first season in Miami was forgettable. The former Oregon head coach returned to his alma mater to take his dream job, but 2022 was a nightmare.

In fact, Miami finished just 5-7 which was massively disappointing considering it was bringing in some top-tier talent, including a really good recruiting class. The Hurricanes just didn’t look good all season long despite having a legit NFL prospect at quarterback and the reigning coordinator of the year in Josh Gattis leading the offense.

The offense was a disaster, the defense wasn’t much better, and Miami suffered through a really forgettable season.

Fortunately for the Hurricanes, Gattis is gone, Tyler Van Dyke is back at quarterback, and they bring in one of the best recruiting classes in the country.

Miami should be a real force in the ACC next season.
