1. Will Sam Hartman elevate offense as expected?

Sam Hartman has been one of the most prolific passers in college football over the past few years and I’m curious to see if his move to South Bend is going to change that.

Notre Dame’s offense is going to look different this year not just because of the weapons that are leaving (namely Michael Mayer) but also because there will be an offensive coordinator change as Tommy Rees accepted a job with Alabama, giving way to Gerad Parker to get the internal promotion.

But the offense will also look different because of Hartman joining the roster and leading the way. He’s a veteran quarterback who is no stranger to most of the opponents on Notre Dame’s 2023 schedule so he shouldn’t have a huge learning curve here.

Still, the question remains: will Hartman elevate the offense to expected levels?

Many believe he has All-American potential but just not enough weapons. Will Notre Dame change that for him?

Will the offense look like a well-oiled machine this spring or will it have some hiccups?
